I started to prepare for a career as a commercial artist and draftsman in junior high. A fan of comics and comic art, in 1977-78 I attended The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art Inc. * I then attended The Bloomfield School of Advertising Art. My first full time job was at an offset/silkscreen print shop doing paste-up and desi
I started to prepare for a career as a commercial artist and draftsman in junior high. A fan of comics and comic art, in 1977-78 I attended The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art Inc. * I then attended The Bloomfield School of Advertising Art. My first full time job was at an offset/silkscreen print shop doing paste-up and design. * A year later I left to become the assistant art director at an advertising agency. I left that job to freelance in 1984. With Viacom as a client I did TV Show and Movie art for international press kits. In 1994 * I made the transition from conventional artist to digital. I mastered Photoshop and more. * then I was hired by ICCLOWE, a Pharmaceutical Advertising Agency. I was as the sole in-house retoucher, illustrator and creative consultant for a revolving staff of art and creative directors for 20 years, in 2015 I was let go amidst an an inter-network agency takeover. *
I am once again freelancing and welcome you to view the sampling of work done for companies, people and myself over the years.
